Here’s How It Works:
1. You’ll Fill Out a Questionnaire
Once you book your package, we’ll send over a detailed questionnaire to learn about your space, your style, and your goals. You’ll also share:
- A Pinterest board (or other inspiration photos)
- Photos of your existing space (especially helpful if you’re keeping anything!)
- CAD drawings if you have them
- Notes on anything already selected or anything that will not be replaced
2. We’ll Get to Work on Your Custom Design Plan
Based on your preferences and inspiration, we’ll pull together a fully personalized design for either your kitchen or your bathroom.
You’ll receive:
- A custom digital mood board showing all selections together
- Carefully chosen hard finishes (cabinet color, counters, tile)
- Coordinating fixtures, lighting & cabinet hardware
- Thoughtful styling suggestions—rugs, accessories, art, etc.
- A clean, easy-to-follow PDF with all the details + product sources
Note: This package does not include cabinet layout or CAD drawings. We’ll offer input on aesthetic details—like cabinet style, color, or hood design—but the layout itself will be left to your cabinetmaker or contractor.
3. We’ll Ship You Real Samples
You’ll receive a curated sample pack in the mail with key hard finishes (like tile or cabinetry). We want you to feel confident in your choices—and that means seeing them in your own space.

A: This package is for one space only—either a kitchen or a bathroom. If you're working on both and want help with each, you’re welcome to purchase a second package, and we’ll tackle them one at a time.
Q: Do you help with cabinet layout or drawings?
A: Nope—this package doesn’t include layout plans or CAD drawings. We’ll give aesthetic advice on cabinet finishes, door styles, or hood shapes, but layout specifics should be finalized with your cabinetmaker or contractor.
Q: What if I'm not doing a full remodel. Can you still help me?
A: Absolutely! You'd be amazed at how much you can enhance your space, even if you're not ripping everything out. We're happy to advise on countertops that would work with existing cabinets, a new backsplash to tie in with existing finishes or even a fresh paint color for your cabinets. Plus, of course, styling selections to enhance your space.
Q: What will you select for me?
A: We’ll design a full, timeless look for the space—including hard finishes (tile, cabinets, counters, etc.), fixtures, lighting, cabinet hardware, and styling accents like rugs or accessories.
Q: Are we limited to using Julep's own tile?
A: Nope! While we can incorporate Julep's handmade tile if you'd like, we can also recommend tile from other reputable manufacturers - No pressure either way.
Q: Will I receive samples?
A: Yes! We’ll send a box of hand-selected physical samples of key hard finishes. These help you feel confident in your selections and are great to share with your contractor or trades.
Q: What if I don’t love something you pick?
A: We’ll always aim to get it right the first time—but if anything doesn’t feel like you, we're happy to do one round of revisions to make sure the final design fits your style.
Q: Can I use this before I’ve hired a contractor?
A: Absolutely. This design package is a great way to get clear on your vision before you start shopping around or meeting with trades.
