Farmhouse Kitchen Backsplash Ideas
Jan 17th 2019
We love farmhouse kitchens because they're cozy and relaxed, but classic at the same time.

While there are some common themes in a farmhouse kitchen (like apron sinks, wood accents, open shelving), the nice thing is you can easily tailor this look to fit your unique design taste - For example, a modern farmhouse kitchen might have more clean lines and industrial finishes whereas a vintage farmhouse kitchen might have more feminine touches and antique fixtures.

Farmhouse kitchen backsplashes are equally versatile, and can range from a simple white subway tile to a bold pattern. Here are some of our favorite backsplash ideas for your own farmhouse kitchen:
1. Subtle Patterned Backsplash
While we love us a bold patterned backsplash (look for more of that later in the post) if you'd like something more subdued, a simple white patterned backsplash can make a quiet, elegant statement. Here we paired our Glossy White Damask handmade tile with a rustic gray cabinet.

2. Simple Subway Tile Backsplash
If you'd like your farmhouse kitchen to look a little more modern, a basic white subway tile backsplash might be the look for you. Subway tile also makes a great backdrop for open shelves. If you love subway tile but want something a little more unique, consider adding our Pearl Liner Trim in Glossy White (now in stock!).

3. Bold Pattern in Black & White
Let your backsplash do all the talking with a bold pattern. This Two-Color Hiser handmade tile in would look beautiful with white cabinets and wood accents.
