Recently this small, outdated bathroom was given a fresh makeover. The result is a bright space with a custom handmade tile accent wall.

Owned by Julep Tile founders Peter & Kirsten Sharp, the original bathroom shown below felt small, plain and in need of a facelift.

To make the space feel bigger they repainted the walls in a light gray color, and to make it feel taller, they added a floor to ceiling tile accent wall (of course!).

To compliment the lighter colors in the room, they chose Julep's Two-Color Bloom handmade tile in Light Gray & Satin Silver. NOTE: We no longer have stock of this color of Bloom tile but you can shop all our available Bloom colors here!

Here's a video of the installation process - They even managed to get it all installed one afternoon while their two little kids were napping!

The kids were impressed with the progress when they woke up.

The next day Kirsten grouted the tile and Pete installed the new pedestal sink, mirror and lights. Pedestal sinks are a great option for small bathrooms as they take up so little space and make the room feel bigger.
