Timeless Kitchen with Calacatta Lux Quartzite

Getting kitchen renovation photos from clients is one of the best parts of my job and this kitchen was no exception!

This client was a joy to work with and his finished kitchen has so much character and color.

I love the paint colors he chose for the tuxedo cabinets... Sidenote if you're not familiar, tuxedo cabinets are where the top and bottom cabinets are different colors.

This is a great option if you'd like to introduce a little bit of color without committing to having it everywhere. Keeping the lighter color on the upper cabinets helps make your kitchen feel taller and more open.

Anyway, back to the colors shown here- Our client chose Benjamin Moore Cloud White for the uppers and Benjamin Moore Newburg Green for the lowers.

Cloud White is such a classic white for interiors but the Newburg Green really takes the cake. It's the perfect teal as it leans more blue in some light and more green in others.

And the countertops are just, well, dreamy. This client selected Calacatta Lux Quartzite which has just enough movement in it to be interesting but not enough to be overpowering.

And for the backsplash, he chose our Bloom Handmade Tile in FC Cream Crackle. This has been one of our best selling glaze colors, I think because it's such a versatile neutral shade. In fact, I installed this exact tile in our last kitchen.

From a design perspective, I love how the gold cabinet hardware repeats the gold tones in the backsplash. Plus, I don't know about you but I'm a sucker for anything gold!
